Thank you for joining us on this journey towards a more sustainable world.
Research shows that plastic in our environment may be linked to various cancers, including breast, lung, and colorectal cancers. Plastic pollution is one of the most pressing environmental issues, with over 33 billion pounds of plastic entering our oceans every year.
At SurvivorRx, we believe that fostering a healthy survivorship goes hand-in-hand with nurturing a healthy planet. That's why we've made a conscious decision to minimize our environmental footprint through sustainable packaging choices.
Reducing Plastic Use
To play our part in the battle against toxic environmental plastic, we've chosen to package our supplements in reusable metal dispensers with bamboo tops. By doing so, we significantly reduce the amount of single-use plastic waste. Metal and bamboo are not only durable and beautiful, but they are also environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic.
Saving on Plastic Supplement Bottles
Our daily supplement packs offer a convenient routine for our customers while drastically cutting down on the use of plastic supplement bottles. To fulfill a basic order of our Core Essentials, a person would need to purchase 8-10 plastic supplement bottles. We fit all these supplements into just 2 thin daily packets, saving thousands of pill bottles from ending up in our dumps. Consider this: if 1,000 customers switch from plastic supplement bottles to our daily supplement packs, we prevent up to 120,000 plastic bottles from being used every year. This small change can lead to a significant reduction in plastic waste, making an real difference over time.
Conserving Trees
Every year, millions of trees are cut down to produce non-reusable paper goods, contributing to deforestation and habitat loss around the world. According to the Environmental Paper Network, about 42% of global wood harvest is used to make paper. By offering reusable dispensers, we do our part to reduce the demand for paper packaging products.
